The project reimagines the future of metropolitan mobility by addressing the evolving needs of passengers while creating a more intuitive, comfortable, and efficient travel experience. Every aspect of the vehicle was carefully designed to optimize the passenger journey, with a strong emphasis on spatial efficiency, accessibility, comfort, flexibility, and seamless interaction. The interior layout encourages smooth passenger flow, improves inclusivity for users with diverse mobility needs, and adapts to different occupancy scenarios throughout the day.

Sustainable by Design
Sustainability is a fundamental pillar of the concept. Cobalto incorporates lightweight construction strategies, optimized material usage, and a fully electric propulsion system to minimize its environmental footprint while maximizing operational efficiency.

Beyond its technical innovations, the project establishes a distinctive design language that balances functionality with elegance, creating a transportation experience that is both visually iconic and environmentally responsible. The result is a forward-looking vision for urban transit—one that seamlessly integrates innovation, sustainability, and human-centered design to redefine the relationship between people, cities, and public transportation.

Fluir Cobalto marked an important milestone for our team—Santiago Salamanca, Miguel Ángel Sierra, and Alejandro Otálora—as an opportunity to envision a new future for Bogotá's public transportation through innovative, human-centered industrial design. More than a conceptual exercise, the project demonstrated how thoughtful design can contribute to more sustainable, accessible, and inspiring urban mobility.
